Exterior Repair and Refinish
Challenge: Previous window installation was done incorrectly and caused the original sheathing to rot.
Solution: Remove the siding, replaced the rotten plywood, installed new clapboard siding and paint.
Materials Used: 3/4” plywood, Tyvek HomeWrap, 1/2” x 6’ Red Cedar clapboard siding, Sherwin Williams ProbBlock Primer and Emerald exterior paint.
Project Highlights: Repair was absolutely necessary to regain the integrity of the wall - all work was completed in 6 days.
Carport Rebuild
Challenge: High winds caused this rotted and structurally compromised carport overhang to crumble.
Solution: Replace load-bearing columns, re-frame, re-roof, install new siding and trim.
Materials Used: Pressure treated pine lumber, 30-year certified roofing and vinyl siding/trim guaranteed for the life of the structure.
Project Highlights: Due to the unsafe conditions caused by the damaged roof this project was time sensitive and completed in only 3 days.
Deck Rebuild
Challenge: This old porch was in need a renovation due to water damage that caused rotten and uneven deck boards, steps and risers.
Solution: Remove deck boards, replace rotten joist and stringers, re-install composite deck boards, steps and risers.
Materials Used: Pressure treated lumber, Prowood 1-5/8” Black Butyl Deck Joist Tape, Trex composite deck boards, 2” Trex deck screws and plugs.
Project Highlights: Due to the unsafe conditions the project was this project was time sensitive and complete in two weeks.
Basement Conversion
Challenge: This family was in need of additional finished living space.
Solution: Implement specific design tactics appropriate for basement conversion to buildout a Home Theater, Gym, Bar and Bathroom.
Materials Used: High-efficiency HVAC, pressure treated lumber and vapor barriers (where necessary to combat moisture) insulation, new plumbing and electrical, sheetrock, doors and trim.
Project Highlights: This basement was transformed into a comfortable conditioned living space expanding the available area where family can enjoy memorable moments together.
Kitchen Remodel
Challenge: This original kitchen was built in the 1990s and was in need of an update to accommodate modern living.
Solution: Refinish cabinetry, install new cabinet hardware, new subway tile backsplash, Quartz countertop, modern farmhouse sink, upgrade to LED lighting and new appliance install.
Materials Used: Semi-gloss acrylic-alkyd enamel paint, Quartz (for countertop), LED lighting, stainless steel sink and appliances.
Project Highlights: Specific care was taken to revive and reinforce the structure of existing cabinetry while creating a completely modern look.
Custom Cabinetry
Challenge: Convert a brick fireplace wall to include a full entertainment center with the maximum available storage options.
Solution: Custom cabinetry design and construction around a high-efficiency electric fireplace insert.
Materials Used: Furniture grade birch plywood, semi-gloss acrylic-alkyd enamel paint, Marble base.
Project Highlights: The inclusion of an entertainment center with maximized storage space made this relatively small section of the room exponentially more functional and enjoyable.
Hardwood Floor Installation
Challenge: Original flooring was uneven, damaged by pets and unsafe.
Solution: Remove existing floorboards and sub-floor, repair and re-level floor joists, re-install new sub-floor, sound protection barrier and white oak floorboards.
Materials Used: 3/4” plywood, Sound and Moisture Barrier, white oak floorboards, gloss polyurethane.
Project Highlights: Upon completion floors throughout this 1,700SF apartment were level, safe and prestine.
Fence Installation
Challenge: Customer needed a full perimeter fence around entire property.
Solution: Remove existing tree and shrub debris and rotten roots to install appropriate concrete footings to support 8’ weatherproof fencing.
Materials Used: Pressure treated 4” x 4” posts and vinyl fencing.
Project Highlights: The new fence added security and beauty to the home.
